Jobs with GGO
Eighteen Summer Intern Openings!
GGO is seeking paid summer Community Research & Evaluation Fellows to support a collaborative, community-engaged research initiative in partnership with researchers at Harvard University. This project examines city responses to summer heat and extreme weather and explores how GGO can support communities in navigating these challenges.
Research Assistants will support a range of activities related to community-based research, including participant engagement, data collection, documentation, and research support. The role emphasizes collaboration with community partners, public-facing research, and translating research into practice.
Ideal candidates are interested in public health, urban environments, heat and extreme temperatures, education, or community development; are comfortable engaging with community members; and are reliable, thoughtful, and curious. Prior research experience is welcome but not required—training will be provided.
This is a paid, summer position with opportunities to gain hands-on experience in community-engaged research and contribute to real-world environmental work conducted with GGO in partnership with academic researchers.
